Considered to be one of the great bird books of the 20th century, this collector's edition is from the author's personal collection and is limited to 400 numbered copies signed by the author and artist. Each copy includes a signed original lithograph by J. Fenwick Lansdown commissioned especially for this edition and numbered 1 through 400. The book was designed by Crimilda Pontes, and produced in Verona, Italy under the direction of Mastino Mardersteig at the Stamperia Valdonega. The paper was made especially by Magnani of Pescia.
